Letters to Our Unborn Child Journal: Our Thoughts as we Waited for you to Join Our Family
As we enjoy the time of pregnacy we find ourselves talking to the precious being growing within, by both parents writing letters during this time we have a memory that will last for ourselves and for the child when they are grown. Communication is the best factor for making a bond with someone, even if they are not there at the moment.
The old-fashion method of writing has been lost with the computer age of emails and typing. Doing this journal will make a connection for the child an everlasting monument. The emotions, hopes, fears, prayers, and openess of these all in one should be forever documented. When the child arrives you will become sleep deprived, nappy changing, bottle making zombie. These emotions that you felt before the mania may be forgotten in the here and now.
Baby books record dates, times, family tree... but a journal connects to the soul of what it means to you by becoming a parent. Even if you are a family of one going through it alone, waiting for adoption of a child so dearly wanted or someone else is carrying your future child. Each of these times being written for them to read will give them more love than sometimes just the simple "I love you" phrase.
